- The alarm and Calender applications are both seperate. I want something like you set a schedule and can have an option to put an alarm on it. Now this calender just makes a beep sound. Thankyou!

Once you've restored, then use the system disk that came with your new MacBook Pro and re-install Leopard. This is the way you should *always* migrate everything from one model of Mac to another model of Mac. If the Macs are the same exact model, you can just do the restore. Otherwise, you may be missing some of the drivers and patches that only apply to the previous model.
